Bangalore, June 30

Mr Veeranna Gowda, General Manager (Public Relations), has been elected President of the Bangalore Management Association for 2009-10. HMT is the founding member of BMA. Mr Gowda is the third HMT executive to adorn the office, his predecessors being Mr H.R. Alwar (Director, Personnel in 1984-85) and Mr M.S.S.Vardan (General Manager, Organisational Development in 1978-79). The other new office-bearers of the association are Mr Manje Gowda (Director, Opto Circuits), Senior Vice-President, Prof. Janardhanam (Director, Canara Bank of Management Studies), Vice- President, Mr B.C. Reddy (Managing Director, Vishala Industries), Honorary Secretary and Ms Sujatha Bhaksar (Managing Director, Laxmi Industries). - Our Bureau
