HCL Tech bags Dr Pepper Snapple deal

New Delhi, June 30 HCL Technologies Ltd on Tuesday announced that it would provide IT application and infrastructure operations and management for Dr Pepper Snapple Group , a producer of flavoured beverages.

The size of the order has not been disclosed.

HCL Technologies would deliver application support and maintenance and manage and monitor infrastructure support and operations, leveraging its managed services model.

Increased scope

According to the deal, DPS would become HCL’s anchor service desk customer located in HCL Technologies’ Raleigh, North Carolina global services delivery facility.

“We were already doing some application maintenance work for them on a time and material basis. With this announcement, we have increased the scope to managed services operations that include application support and maintenance, end-user computing, integrated service desk, network management and vendor management,” Mr Shami Khorana, President of HCL America, told Business Line.
