Monsoon delay: A farmer returns home after the day's work through his field in Umsuwai village in Assam's Karbi Anglong district on Wednesday. With monsoon arriving after a long dry spell, agricultural activities are in full swing in the north-eastern State. In view of the delay in monsoon, farmers began sowing a month behind schedule.
