New Delhi, July 1 Aimed at becoming a total kitchen and bathroom service provider, H.R. Johnson Ltd is setting up a floor tile plant at Rajkot in Gujarat with an estimated investment of Rs 40 crore.

The floor tile unit is set up in the Spectrum Tiles plant by adding one more kiln to the existing ones. Last year, H.R. Johnson had entered into a joint venture agreement with Spectrum Tiles to manufacture wall tiles.

Mr Vijay Aggarwal, Managing Director, H.R. Johnson, said, “Our joint venture has been rewarding for both the companies. The plant is expected to commence commercial production within nine months. Investments towards capacity expansions in this unit are also in the pipeline in the near future.”
