Chennai port appointment

Chennai, July 1

Mr K. Suresh, Chairman, Chennai Port Trust (ChPT), will move to Madhya Pradesh after completing his tenure at the ChPT on Wednesday . An IAS officer belonging to the 1982 batch of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, Mr Suresh took over as ChPT Chairman in September 2004. He was earlier Zonal Manager (South), Food Corporation of India, Chennai. “I will be on leave for two months before moving for Madhya Pradesh,” Mr Suresh said. Capt Subhash Kumar, Deputy Chairman, ChPT, will hold additional charge as the chairman of the port trust. —
