Assigning page titles

FrontPage's Folders view can show you a lot of information about your files, including the fact that some pages may not have titles. The text in the Title column will appear in the browser's title bar (and in search engine listings), so it's important to give your page's descriptive titles.

If no title appears for a particular page or the title is the same as the filename, you can quickly assign a title in Folders view. To do so, select the page in question and press the Tab key twice.

Type a new page title and press Enter. You can use the same technique to change the filename or to add text to the Comments field. Just keep pressing Tab until the appropriate field is selected.
