To make Barista better, last week, the coffee specialists launched a new food range at their outlets. Introducing the flavours of Italy, Barista had on its shelves a variety of Italian sandwiches — Paninis — and Baquettes. The Paninis too are of two varieties of breads — Ciabatta and foccacia. While the former is slipper shaped and has an airy texture, the latter is flat and crunchy. And now, about the fillings. The vegetarian range will include mint mushroom and spicy veg, while the non-vegetarian include herbed chicken and chicken lyonnaise. On the dessert front too there are some offerings in coffee and chocolate flavours — chocolate Bavarian, mocha Columbia cake and torta del nougat. And, of course, the coffees that go with it are also Italian to the core.
