Macro Economy Govt announces refund of service tax paid by exporters CHENNAI: The Government has issued a notification dated October 6 extending refund of service tax paid by exporters on additional three taxable services that are not in the nature of "input services" but could be linked to export of goods: general insura nce services provided to an exporter in relation to insurance of export goods, technical testing and analysis agency services in relation to technical testing and analysis of export goods and inspection and certification agency services in relation to in spection and certification of export goods. - Our Bureau
