Nakoda Textile enters into wind power biz

MUMBAI: Nakoda Textile Industries on Wednesday said it has forayed into wind power segment with an initial investment of Rs 41 crore.

The company has acquired wind turbines from Global Wind Power Ltd and is investing Rs 41 crore for the project to be financed by internal accruals and loans, Nakoda Textile Industries said in a filing to BSE.

Nakoda Textile Industries would be supplying the entire power generated at the plant to Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, the filing added. - PTI
