Steel Strips bags export order from Austrian firm

MUMBAI: Steel Strips Wheels Ltd on Wednesday said that it has received a repeat export order from Austria-based Kromag Metallindustrie GmbH for the supply of 15,020 car wheels.

The company would begin the supplies in June 2006, Steel Strips informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The company had earlier signed an agreement with Kromag for export of 12,000 wheels for 'Daewoo or Chevrolet Matiz Car'.

The order was initially for a period of one year from January 1, 2006, to December 31, 2006, for sales in the European market.

The company's shares closed at Rs 145.90, down 0.95 per cent at the BSE. - PTI
