This is a very positive step for consumer confidence in healthcare services and this document can be used as a model by all hospitals in the country, he added. Wockhardt Hospital's Vice-President Mr Vishal Bali said hospitals play a central role in the healthcare system, as centres that practice modern medicine and keep pace with rapid technological advancements taking place in the science of life. It is becoming increasingly important that the healthcare settings for patients simultaneously put more emphasis on the social and environmental determinants that support healing while promoting health.
