Ranbaxy gets tentative nod to sell generic nexium in U.S.

MUMBAI: Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd received tentative approval from the Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to sell its copy of AstraZeneca Plc's ulcer treatment Nexium in the U.S.

The Gurgaon-based company received initial approval to sell 20 milligram and 40- milligram delayed-release capsules of esomeprazole magnesium in the U.S., it said today.
