Arvind Mills plans Rs 263.12-cr pref issue

CHENNAI: Arvind Mills Ltd has informed the BSE that an EGM will be held on October 23 to get approval to increase the authorised share capital of the company from Rs 320,00,00,000 divided into 23,00,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each and 90,00,000 prefer ence shares of Rs 100 each, to Rs 450,00,00,000 divided into 36,00,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each and 90,00,000 preference shares of Rs 100 each.

The meeting will also consider a plan to create, offer and issue from time to time in one or more tranches 5,06,00,000 warrants that are convertible into 5,06,00,000 equity shares to promoters/promoter group at an issue price of Rs 52 per warrant, each w arrant convertible into one equity share of Rs 10 each at a premium of Rs 42, aggregating Rs 263.12 crore. - Our Bureau
