Corporate Nagarjuna Construction bags Rs 722-cr contracts MUMBAI: Nagarjuna Construction Company on Tuesday said it has received five projects worth Rs 722 crore for construction related works. The company secured a Rs 328-crore order from the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board for water supply and sewerage project, which would be completed over a period of 26 months, Nagarjuna Construction said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange ( BSE). Further, the construction company secured a Rs 143-crore road project from Water Resources Department, Bihar, whereas Chennai-based Jain Housing awarded a Rs 100-crore housing project, the company said. Besides, it has bagged a Rs 91 crore order from Rail Vikas Nigam for infrastructure related works. The company has also secured a water supply project worth Rs 60 crore from Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board. Shares of Nagarjuna Construction Company were trading at Rs 165.05, down 2.08 per cent in the afternoon trade on the BSE. — PTI
