Invesco Hong Kong reduces stake in Jain Irrigation

MUMBAI: Foreign fund house Invesco Hong Kong Ltd has reduced its stake in agriculture conglomerate Jain Irrigation Systems to 4.02 per cent after selling shares worth Rs 4.73 crore through an open market transaction.

The fund house has offloaded a 0.97 per cent stake or 7,28,000 shares of irrigation company, Jain Irrigation Systems said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Prior to the sell-off, Invesco Hong Kong Ltd held 4.99 per cent, while now it holds a 4.02 per cent stake or 29.94 lakh shares of Jain Irrigation Systems. Shares of Jain Irrigation Systems were trading at Rs 630.05, down 0.20 per cent on the BSE. - PTI
