Reliance Cementation plans to set up cement plant in Maharashtra

MUMBAI: Reliance Cementation, an Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) company, plans to set up a 5 million tonnes integrated cement plant in Yavatmal district of Maharashtra.

The company also plans to set up a cement grinding unit at Butibori in Nagpur district. An investment of Rs 2,250 crore has been earmarked for these projects.

A MoU to this effect was signed by ADAG and the Maharashtra Government in the presence of state Chief Minister, Mr Ashok Chavan. - PTI
