Big Rural is an attempt to reach out to rural markets and offer marketers activation solutions backed by the radio support of the wide network of BIG 92.7 FM, the ADAG firm said in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Big Rural will offer clients rural solutions in different areas, including farm products (seeds, pesticides, tractors), FMCG brands and banking and financial services. The new business unit “will give brands inroads into lakhs of villages across the country,” the company said. “Given our already existent network through the radio platform of BIG 92.7 FM, Big Rural offers unmatchable reach across India, reaching out to 52,000 villages with its very own local and trained personnel,” the company’s Head of Allied Businesses Rabe T Iyer said.
