Cox & Kings buys Australian travel co

MUMBAI: Cox and Kings (Australia) Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cox and Kings (India) Ltd, has acquired 100 per cent stake in MyPlanet Australia Pty Ltd & Bentours International Pty Ltd, Australia through share sale agreement from First Choice Ho ldings Australia Pty Ltd.

Cox & Kings (India) announced BSE on Wednesday that the acquisition has been made through an earn-out mechanism and is not being paid from the cash raised for acquisitions from the recent IPO.

First Choice Holdings is a European tourism group which is part of the TUI Travel Plc group of companies. — Our Bureau
