Aditya Birla group's cement production up 7.52 pc

MUMBAI: Cement production of the Aditya Birla group for the period April-November increased by 7.52 per cent at 192.73 lakh tonnes as against 179.25 lakh tonnes during the same period in 2005.

Dispatches moved up 7.64 per cent at 192.29 lakh tonnes in the April-November period as against 178.64 lakh tonnes in the corresponding period last year, a release issued here stated.

Cement production and dispatches of the Aditya Birla group for November stood at 24.76 lakh tonnes and 24.66 lakh tonnes, registering a growth of 10.75 per cent and 12.68 per cent over November 2005, respectively. - PTI
