MUMBAI: The Sensex opened weak on Monday. According to analysts this slide was due to a sharp fall in Asian markets. The Sensex opened lower at 426 points at 15,115.97. The Nifty was down at 4,489.10.

At 1000 IST the Sensex was 464.88 points down at 15,107. The Nifty was down 122 points at 4506.20.
