Idea spurts on joint tower co

MUMBAI: Idea Cellular stock rose sharply on Monday on news the company has formed a joint venture with Vodafone and Bharti Airtel, named Indus Towers for telecom infrastructure. The company is likely to benefit as it will now be able to avail of a wi de tower network, particularly when it expands into new circles.

Idea's inclusion in NSE's Nifty from Wednesday also lent support to the stock.

Today, shares of Idea rose 3.70 per cent at Rs 138.10 on the BSE.
