Siemens surges on results, new orders

MUMBAI: Shares of Siemens Ltd surged on the BSE on Wednesday after its net profit for the June quarter more than doubled and it reported more new orders. Siemens shares were up 8.4 per cent at Rs 541.

It reported net profit of Rs 169 crore on net sales of Rs 1,810 crore, while its new order intake during the quarter rose 18 per cent to Rs 2,078 crore.
