Airlines shares up on ATF price cut

MUMBAI: Private carriers such as Jet Airways, Kingfisher Airlines and SpiceJet were up 3-6 per cent after a steep fall in prices of jet fuel.

The airlines are expected to cut fares by 15-40 percent by Jan. 1. At 10.30 am, Jet Airways was up Rs 6.80 or 3.80 per cent at Rs 185.65 and Kingfisher Airlines was up 0.90 per cent at Rs 34.80 on the BSE
