Commodities Wheat dara eases on reduce offtake NEW DELHI: Wheat dara prices weakened by Rs 5-10 a quintal in the wholesale grain market today due to reduced offtake against ample supply. Atta, maida and sooji prices too slipped in line with wheat. However, other grain prices moved in a tight range on small buying and selling and closed flat. Marketmen said increased supply against fall in buying mainly pulled down wheat dara prices. Wheat dara dropped from Rs 1,125-1,135 to settle at Rs 1,120-1,125 per 90 kg bag on poor buying interest, while wheat MP deshi maintained last closing levels on some support at Rs 1,300-1,600 a 90 kg bag. Atta chakki delivery and rolling flour mills pri ces also eased from Rs 1,120-1,125 and Rs 1,115-1,120 to settle at Rs 1,110-1,120 and Rs 1,110-1,115 a quintal respectively. Maida and sooji prices also finished lower from Rs 1,225-1,230 and Rs 1,225-1,250 to Rs 1,210-1,220 and Rs 1,215-1,240 a 90 kg b ag respectively.- PTI
