Commodities Select commodities prices up CHENNAI: Prices of select commodities went up in the wholesale foodgrains market here on Thursday. Prices of moong dal went up by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 3,700 against the previous rate of Rs 3,600. Urad dal, wheat and sooji all moved up by Rs 50 each to Rs 3,850, Rs 1,550 and Rs 1,550 respectively. Both gram dal and maida edge up by Rs 25 each to Rs 2,850 and Rs 1,425 against the previous rate of Rs 2,825 and Rs 1,400. Thoor dal and sugar remained unaltered from their previous rates. Following are Thursday's rates (per quintal): Thoor dal (Rs 4,350), urad dal (Rs 3,850), moong dal (Rs 3,700), gram dal (Rs 2,850), sugar (Rs 1,540), wheat (Rs 1,550), maida (90 kg) Rs 1,4 25 and sooji (90 kg) Rs 1,550. - PTI
