Gur prices steady

NEW DELHI: Steady conditions developed on the wholesale gur (jaggery) market here today with prices by and large after moving in a narrow range on small bouts of buying and selling, finished unchanged.

Marketmen said negligible enquiries by stockists and retailers amid restricted supply largely kept prices unchanged. Similar trends were also seen at Muzzafar Nagar and Murad Nagar market..

Following were today's quotations:

Chakku 1400-1450, Pedi 1350-1400 and Dhayya 1350-1400 Shakkar 1500-1550 and Khandsari 1500-1550.

In Muzzafar Nagar: Raskat 925-1010, chakku 1150-1400 and Khurpa 1100-1150. In Murad Nagar: Pedi 1150-1200, Dhayya 1150-1200. - PTI
