Commodity exchanges closed today

MUMBAI: The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) and the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) will remain closed on Thursday, following the terrorist attacks in the city.

MCX's currency futures exchange MCX SX is also closed. MCX Managing Director and CEO Joseph Massey said that following the government's advice to citizens to stay indoors, it has been decided to close both the MCX and the MCX SX. An NCDEX spokesperson sa id that the exchange would be shut today following the attacks. - PTI
