Khandsari remains up in gur market

NEW DELHI: The wholesale price of khandsari rose by Rs 50 a quintal in the national capital on Monday following reduced arrivals amid better offtake.

Elsewhere, other gur (jaggery) prices remained flat on little buying support. Marketmen said a pick-up in demand from local parties along with a fall in supply, caused the rise in the prices of shakkar.

Following were today's quotations for different varieties of gur in quintal.
