Asian markets move higher

TOKYO: Japanese share prices opened higher on Friday, with the benchmark Nikkei-225 index gaining 34.14 points, or 0.32 per cent, to 10,551.33 in the first minute of trading.

Hong Kong share prices opened 0.57 per cent higher today, with the benchmark Hang Seng Index rising 119.37 points to 20,980.67 in the first few minutes of trading. - PTI
