Hong Kong shares down

HONG KONG: Hong Kong share prices were 0.30 per cent lower on Friday, despite a bounce from HSBC after shareholders approved a plan to boost the bank's capital by $18 billion. The benchmark Hang Seng Index opened down 39.96 points at 13,090.96.
