Japanese financial markets closed

MUMBAI: Financial markets in Japan are closed today for a national holiday. Trading will resume on Tuesday. Hong Kong share prices opened 0.96 per cent higher today, with the benchmark Hang Seng Index rising 180.91 points to 18,986.57 in the first few mi nutes of trade.
