Nomura likely to post net loss of ¥700 bn

TOKYO: Japan's largest brokerage house Nomura Holdings Inc is likely to post loss in this fiscal with a record net loss of about ¥700 billion said reports.

The taking over of parts of bankrupt Lehman Bros and also due to the deepening economic recession worldwide has contributed to the loss said the sources.
