Nikkei up, other Asian markets drop

MUMBAI: Asian shares were mostly down with the exception of Nikkei industrial index on Thursday.

While Japanese market Nikkei went up by 117.89 points at 10,488.43, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was sharply down by 627.68 points at 20,967.84. Elsewhere, Singapore’s Straits Times declined 26.93 points to 2,659.01 and South Korea’s Kospi too lost 28.77 points at 1,682.70.
