New unit will have sales of $1 b, says HCL Tech

MUMBAI: HCL Technologies Ltd., the computer-services provider will have exports of $1 billion from its new facility at Greater Noida in five years.

The company, which expects to boost sales by 30 per cent every year for the next five years, plans to meet the target for the unit in the 2012-2013 fiscal year, Mr Shiv Nadar, Founder Chairman and CSO of the company told reporters in Greater Noida today, at the opening of the facility.

The new unit, in which HCL will invest $250 million, will have 15,000 workers in five years, Mr Nadar said.
