Info-Tech MUMBAI: Satyam Computer Services Ltd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra Airport Development Company Ltd (MADC) to set up an office in Nagpur. As per the MoU, the company would be allotted a 100-acre plot in the special economic zone in Nagpur, Satyam informed the Bombay Stock Exchange. "We are delighted to be the first IT company to be in the city of Nagpur and are confident of the potential of the city which has good infrastructure and a huge talent pool," Satyam Co-Founder and Managing Director, Mr B Rama Raju, said. Satyam is the first global IT company to make a foray into Nagpur and this development is in line with its decision to expand operations to Tier II locations. Satyam already has a campus in Pune, which started with 200 associates in 1997, and has today g rown to 1,500. - PTI
