Infosys BPO signs pact with McCamish Systems

MUMBAI: Infosys BPO Ltd, the business process outsourcing arm of Infosys Technologies, on Thursday announced BSE that the company has signed a definite agreement to acquire all of the outstanding interests of US-based business process solutions provider McCamish Systems LLC.

The acquisition is expected to be completed later this year subject to the satisfaction of certain closing conditions.

The upfront consideration for the deal is $38 million with up to an additional $20 million payable to the sellers if McCamish Systems achieves certain financial targets in the future.

According to Infosys, the deal is expected to enhance its capability to deliver end-to-end business solutions for the insurance and finance services industries. — Our Bureau
