Microsoft India appoints new Director for OEM biz

NEW DELHI: Microsoft India on Tuesday said that it has appointed Mr Anil Sethi as Group Director, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) business group. MR Sethi will spearhead the overall growth and operations of the division in India, a company statemen t said here.

The OEM unit at Microsoft works in close partnerships with organisations such as HCL Infosystems, Zenith, Dell, HP and the system builder channel to ensure that consumers are able to get Microsoft operating system on any hardware of their choice. Prior t o joining Microsoft, Mr Sethi had served as Vice-President with IBM for nine years. - PTI
