CHENNAI: Software testing company Maveric Systems, with focus on banking, financial services and insurance, said on Thursday said it has secured the ISO 27001 certification.

The ISO 27001 is internationally recognised as a comprehensive standard certification on information security and is essential for companies with offshore delivery capabilities, a company press release here said. "Offshoring today is characterised by complexity and high levels of information security. This certification is one of our initiatives to significantly scale up our offshore testing offerings that will position us as a true global player in the testing d omain" Maveric Systems - Director Mr V N Mahesh said.

Maveric Systems is one of India's top three independent software-testing companies since 2000. The company has multiple delivery locations in India, UK, Middle East and USA. Its client list includes software product companies, system integrators and fina ncial institutions, the release said. - PTI
