Tanla Chairman and Managing Director, Mr Uday Reddy said, “Last quarter's result validates our view of a muted impact on the recent global slowdown on the mobile market in geographies of our operation. We have also got a significant boost from our domest ic revenues and our new mobile payments vertical,'' he added.

Tanla Mobile, a Tanla Solutins subsidiary, continues to be the growth driver and works in partnership with global mobile operations across UK and Asia, Spain and South Africa.

The mobile market in both UK and new geographies like India remain resilient to recent economic upheavals.

Vodafone and O2, UK's top two operators continue to see robust growth in non-voice revenues.

For Vodafone, service revenue has increased by 2.1 per cent due to 31 per cent growth in data revenue and 13.5 per cent growth in messaging revenues. - PTI
