The Hindu Business Line : Royal Sundaram partners with Geojit

KOCHI: Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Company Limited has partnered with Geojit BNP Paribas, one of the leading financial services providers in India, to offer savings and investment solutions.

This tie up would enable Geojit BNP Paribas to distribute all the personal lines General Insurance products of Royal Sundaram across its 500 plus offices, Geojit said in a press release here.

Customers would be able to buy all the personal lines products online through the website of Geojit BNP Paribas which has been a pioneer in online trading since 2000.

Royal Sundaram products are also distributed through telemarketing network of Geojit BNP Paribas.

Geojit BNP Paribas has commenced selling health insurance products of Royal Sundaram and will gradually offer the entire bouquet of their personal lines products by the end of this quarter.

Mr Ajay Bimbhet, Managing Director, Royal Sundaram said the insurance industry can grow only when awareness about the importance of insurance is coupled with an extensive distribution network.

'To this end, our partnership with Geojit BNP Paribas will go a long way to further expand our pan India footprint,' he said.

Geojit Managing Director, Mr C J George, said the company to start with would extensively promote their health insurance products through different distribution channels which will be followed by other personal lines products. - PTI
