Banking & Finance Andhra Bank Q3 net up over 16% at Rs 159 crore MUMBAI: Andhra Bank on Wednesday posted a rise of 16.68 per cent in its net profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 at Rs 159.02 crore, against Rs 136.27 crore during the corresponding quarter in 2006. Total income has increased 33.05 per cent to Rs 1,233.34 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 926.92 crore in the same period last fiscal, the company said in a communiqué to the Bombay Stock Exchange. Shares of the company were trading at Rs 90.10, down 2.86 per cent on the BSE. - PTI
