Dhanalakshmi Bank appoints two addl directors

MUMBAI: Private sector Dhanalakshmi Bank on Monday announced the appointment of two Directors to its Board -- Ghanshyam Dass and Sateesh Kumar Andra. Their appointments are with effect from July 31 and would raise the total Board strength from six to ei ght, a press release issued here stated.

Mr Ghanshyam Dass is the Senior Advisor of KPMG and Advisor, Intel capital. He has been associated with NASDAQ QMX for the Asia-Pacific as the Managing Director, Majan International Bank in Oman as General Manager and with the British Bank of Middle-Eas t in India as its CEO, the release said.

Mr Sateesh Andra comes with more than 15-years of experience in promoting and guiding enterprises in software, semi-conductor, Internet and electronics industries. He has a wide-ranging experience in nurturing start-ups and creating profitable small-sca le enterprises. He is on the Board of start-ups like MetroMela, mGinger and Pressmart, started by young and first-generation entrepreneurs, the release said.
