Marketing CHENNAI: Mumbai-based Next Gen Publishing Ltd (NGPL) has launched 'Computeractive,' UK's best selling computer magazine, in India. Computeractive, which has been priced at Rs 60 per copy, is the flagship magazine of VNU Business Publications, GPP, London, and is published in 19 countries including the UK, Holland, Spain, Italy, Indonesia, Greece and South Africa. "Initially, we are bringing out 50,000 copies all over the country," said Mr Hoshang S Billimoria, CEO of NGPL while announcing the launch of the publication. He said that the magazine was targeted at the everyday home and office computer user. "The common man is often confused and scared of technology. Computeractive simplifies technology, makes it easy to understand and puts the fun back into computing." NGPL, a joint venture between Forbes Group and HDFC Ltd Enterprise, also publishes exclusive magazines on photography, car and bike markets in India. It had already launched Forbes Yellow pages in Ahmedabad and New Delhi with an Internet version supporte d by SMS. - PTI
