Marketing Parle Agro launches grape drink MUMBAI: Beverages major, Parle Agro, on Wednesday said it has introduced Grappo Fizz, a grape drink, in the market. Grappo Fizz is targeted at the youth who are constantly looking for new options, is purple-red in colour and comes in a premium PET pack, shaped like a champagne bottle, a press release issued here said. It works well as a mixer for cocktails and mocktails and is also ideal for non-drinkers who want to have a fun drink, the release said. Parle Agro plans to tap this segment through a series of television commercials, PoP promotions and below-the-line ac tivities. The company also has major sampling plans for Grappo Fizz through mobile vans in colleges and other youth hangout joints apart from modern trade and retail outlets, the release said. “Grappo Fizz will fill a gap in the market for a quality sparkling grape drink. We are credited at creating the sparkling fruit drinks category with Appy Fizz which is a major hit with the youth. With this product extension, we aim to recreate the succes s with Grappo Fizz,” Parle Agro Joint Managing Director and CMO, Mr Nadia Chauhan said. Grappo Fizz will be available in 300 ml, 500 ml and 1- litre PET priced at Rs 20, 27 and Rs 48, respectively, the release said. - PTI
