Spencer's Retail launches 40 stores this week

BANGALORE: Spencer's Retail announced an investment of Rs. 1,000 crore in the retail business and launched 40 stores this week across the country at a function unveiling the new brand and visual identity of the signature Spencer's Hyper at Inorbit Mall, Malad. This is Spencer's largest hyper in the country so far - 54,000 square feet of international shopping experience in air-conditioned comfort.

The Store will offer more than 30,000 products under one roof and also offer consumers several unique amenities, which have never been experienced before, such as insurance, health checks, utilities' payment, travel consultants, personal loans, etc.

Speaking at the unveiling, Mr. Harsh Goenka, Chairman, RPG Enterprises said, "We will invest aggressively in the retail business and are proud to bring the Spencer's world class experience of shopping convenience to our customers in Mumbai. The new re-fu rbished store will change the way Mumbai shops. Over the past week we have opened a record number of 40 stores across India. "
