ITDC half yearly PAT up 2.68% at Rs 20.65 crore

NEW DELHI: The India Tourism Development Corp on Monday announced a half year profit before tax (PBT) of Rs 20.56 crore, up 2.68 per cent from the same period last fiscal.

The company had in the corresponding period registered a PBT of Rs 20.11 crore. The company also secured a half-yearly turnover of Rs 212.3 crore, an increase of 22 per cent over the turnover of Rs 173.76 crore reported by it during the corresponding per iod of 2007-08, ITDC said in a statement.

The company, however, did not disclose its net profit or second quarter results. ITDC's arm Ashok Group of Hotels reported a 11.78 per cent growth in half-yearly turnover at Rs 88.02 crore, up from Rs 78.77 crore during the same period last fiscal.

The company's another subsidiary, Ashok Travels and Tours reported a half-yearly turnover of Rs 31.62 crore, up 15.4 per cent over the turnover of Rs 31.62 crore achieved by it during the corresponding period of 2007-08, the statement added. - PTI
