Banswara Syntex back in black

MUMBAI: Banswara Syntex Ltd, a vertically integrated textile company, has posted a net profit of Rs 7.44 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2009, compared with a loss of Rs 0.23 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2008.

Net sales have gone up to Rs 157.36 crore from Rs 141.27 crore, up by 11.4 per cent.

Operating profit rose to Rs 24.66 crore during the quarter from Rs 16.15 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. — Our Bureau
