MUMBAI: Jubilant Organosys Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 55.49 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2009 as against a net loss of Rs 24.39 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2008.

Total income has decreased from Rs 685.28 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2008 to Rs 632.57 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2009.

During the period, the Group has posted a net profit after minority interest of Rs 57.68 crore compared with a net loss of Rs 62.72 crore in the same period previous fiscal.

Total income has decreased from Rs 947.58 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2008 to Rs 939.66 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2009. — Our Bureau
