Corporate Results MUMBAI: B K Birla Group company Century Textiles & Industries Ltd on Friday reported a ten-fold jump in net profit at Rs 74.79 crore for the quarter ended September 30, as compared to Rs 7.41 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. Total income (net of excise) rose to Rs 760.05 crore for the second quarter in 2006-07, up 28 per cent from Rs 595.08 crore in the same quarter a year ago, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
