Goods train derailed in Bengal

MALDA (West Bengal): Six bogies of a goods train derailed near Chachagram station in Malda district, disrupting rail traffic.

Railway sources said several long distance trains to the north-east got stranded at various stations since midnight after the bogies of the goods train derailed.

Efforts were still on to clear the stretch, sources said, adding that no casualty or injury has been reported so far. - PTI
